On August 2, 2026, Bala Brundam Day was celebrated with great joy, reverence, and splendour at Raga Sudha Hall, Mylapore. The occasion brought together our shishyas and their families in a spirit of togetherness. Many travelled from far and near, including from different cities and countries, to be present in person and partake in this celebration. We were also pleased to have our online batches join us through a video presentation, enabling our Gurukulam family across geographies to be a part of the festivities. The day was a beautiful celebration of our shared bond with the Guru, the tradition, and the timeless art we hold dear.

On Saturday, 25th July 2026, Dr. Praveena Thodge and Dr. Srilatha Renjith performed a concert in celebration of the birth anniversary of Sangeetha Pitamaha Sri Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer, at Naada Inbam, Raga Sudha Hall, Mylapore. They were accompanied by Dr. Sudha RS Iyer on violin and Sri Arjun Ganesh on mridangam.

On 15th February 2026, Dr. Kavitha Devarajan performed a concert at Naada Inbam, Raga Sudha Hall accompanied by Dr. Sudha R S Iyer on violin and Vidwan J. Balaji on mridangam.

As is customary, the Gurukulam group performance was held on January 01, 2026 at Naada Inbam, Raga Sudha Hall – Mylapore. Our young disciples sang slokas, namavalis and devotional compositions on Lord Kṛṣṇa. Their performance was followed by Kṛṣṇa Līlā Taraṅgiṇī a thematic opera by Sri Narayana Teerthar rendered by the senior faculty of the Gurukulam.

On 27 December 2025, Sangita Kala Acharya Guru Smt Seetha Rajan performed at Naada Inbam, Raga Sudha Hall – Mylapore. She was accompanied by Vidwan Sri Embar Kannan on violin and Vidwan Sri B. Guru Raghavendra on mridangam and Vidwan Sri BS Purushotham on kanjira.

On 26 December 2025, Dr. Praveena Thodge performed at Naada Inbam, Raga Sudha Hall – Mylapore. She was accompanied by Dr. Sudha RS Iyer on violin and Sri B. Guru Raghavendra on mridangam.

Dr. Jyotsna Krishnamurthi performed a concert on 12 December, 2025 at Naada Inbam, Raga Sudha Hall.
Vidwan R Raghul accompanied her on the violin and Vidwan SJ Arjun Ganesh on the mridangam.
